This character is part of fen Caernacht of Battania. He is the husband of Maireas and the father of Guaran.

Governor of Ab Comer Castle the only unique castle in Battania but closest to Vlandia.

In the lords.XML file this character has this note attached "Rodarac, red-faced angry warlord".

Not sure if red faced means blushing with anger or if red-faced is literal with red face paint which is likely. In any event, he dons white face paint now so things have changed through development. Though he's still angry and a warlord.

The Pictish people in the northern part of Britannia, modern day Scotland (Pictish people inspired 1/3 of Battania), are known today as Picts because of how the Romans noticed that they painted their bodies. Hence "Picti" - meaning pained men. It's theorized they tattooed their bodies, which Emperors and Roman authors deemed sacrilegious. Tattoos in Rome were given to those who were exiled - Tattoos were considered a punishment.

In the voice_strings.XML file it states that Curt - introvert, not agreeable - Gruff. Words may be nice, but the voice usually suggests disinterest in other people. Suggests the person is easily angered. Male aristocrats, having their own natural authority, can get away with being unexpressive. curt women and commoners often give the impression of being on the edge of an angry outburst.
