Son of Caladog - Next heir to Battania

Mengus is the son of Caladog and is part of fen Gruffendoc of Battania.

He's the brother of Corein and Merag. His uncle is Ergeon and his cousins are Alynneth, Sein, and Ranaon.

His grandfather is Aeril, but neither Aeril nor his daughter (the mother of Caladog's children) are shown in game. But we can make an educated guess as to what they may have looked like.

Caladog seems to have named Dalmengus, village of Marunath, after his son as his inheritance.

The lords.XML file says he's the heir of Caladog, and is under his father's spell. Probably means he's afraid of disappointing his dad.

The lords.XML file also says this character has an earnest voice.

In the voice_strings.XML file it states Earnest - extrovert, agreeable - These characters present themselves or herself enthusiastically. They are friendly, perhaps overfriendly. Enthusiastic, can be bombastic or boastful. An upperwest_male_earnest could be a gallant knight, or a Colonel Blimp type, depending on how he chooses his words. Some, males in particular, may choose only to be agreeable to social equals and superiors. In women from traditional cultures, this is usually someone acting maternal.
