Companion Story
After Frostbeard's parents died, the man his sister was married to hired a devious man. A fast-talker who knew the law well and so - before Sturgia's council - he convinced the council to award Frostbeard's sister - or really her husband - his parent's farm. Frostbeard was now living in the woods, homeless, but he made a living hunting and trapping and selling furs which he didn't mind much. But after some thought, he figured one day he'd wish to marry and for that he'd need silver, a lot more at least. So he'd looking for work as a Scout in an army.
In Summary
"I'm a trapper, a hunter. Used to be I could make a good living through furs... But with all these bandits about.... I'd rather be part of an army, I think. Spent my whole life in the woods and I reckon I could do well as a scout."
